Loxlie
The above picture is Loxlie a 7 week old Ragdoll kitten with her new mum Kaila. I went to Kaila’s Vivacious hair studio this morning for a hair cut and I was told they had a surprise for me. I was excited and what did I find? I found a fabulous new Ragdoll kitten there! Loxlie is a beautiful kitten, nice, soft and playful. He is also the first guest cat featured here at Cat Care. I hope to see many more.
The next surprise was a new German Shepard puppy named Brandy. Another happy and full of fun Shepard. Brandy’s mum Katie has a real bundle of love there.
There is nothing nicer than starting a morning with kittens and puppies. Yes Cat Care cares about dogs too. The lady in the picture is Chrissy. Katie was busy at picture time.
The Ragdoll Cat
The Ragdoll cat has a relatively new breed dating back to the 1960’s. This cat is a mix of Persian/Angora and Birman or Burmese like cats. The Ragdoll is noted for having a docile, calm, trusting and floppy nature. The Ragdoll is one of the largest domesticated cat breeds with a sturdy body and large frame. These cats come in six different colors. The kittens are born white, have good color at 8-10 weeks and full color at 3-4 years. The Ragdoll has a beautiful look of elegance with coat that feels soft and silky. These kitties are easy going and like being held and enjoy playing. They also like water and might jump in the tub with you.
That’s how December 01, 2017 started and that’s my story for today. Hug a kitty and do something green for the environment. If you would like your kitty featured on the Cat Care website please send a picture with a short bio and don’t forget the name to catinthecradles@gmail.com
